One of my biggest accomplishments besides helping couples plan their wedding day, is to serve on the Board of Directors of WIPA – Wedding Industry Professionals Association. It’s an organization that I can truly stand behind. The mission of this organization is to bring excellence to the wedding industry. Earlier this year the Southern California Chapter held it’s annual design challenge at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. This event brings out the best designers who bring their “A” game in designing tables based on a theme.
This year I decided to take part in the challenge. The overall theme was “Somewhere In Time”, and transported guests to a historical time and place in history. My theme was The Roaring 20’s. Influences that inspired me included art deco architecture, feathers, pearls and bold colors, like black and white. I couldn’t have asked for a better team of professionals that worked together to bring my design to life.

There were so many beautiful details that made this table look and feel luxurious and polished. From the sequin linen, to the candelabras, beautiful graphic menus and more, it certainly felt like a table at a speakeasy in Chicago circa 1920! Thank you to the creative partners who went the extra mile for me:
