Fall Weddings – Everything You Need to Know

Happy September, Friends!  

September 22nd marks the first day of Fall, and here at Nahid Global Events, we LOVE FALL.

Fall is an especially beautiful time of the year for us here in Southern California.

While it may not be peak Wedding Season, there are some great reasons to have your wedding in the Fall. 

Here are just a few of them…

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FALL WEATHER – We love planning Southern California Fall Weddings because of the weather.  Unlike our East Coast Cousin States, California still has hot weather all the way through Mid-November.  This makes a Fall Wedding very comfortable, and not quite as hot as in July or August, when temperatures can really skyrocket.

PRICING – We have an easier time securing deals for our clients during the Off-Season, since vendors have fewer bookings and are still looking for work.  Considering that the weather is actually more temperate during this time of the year, the situation is a win-win for Southern California Brides.

DESIGN PERKS – Fall opens up a whole new color pallet!  While Spring and Summer colors are  lovely, Fall colors become richer and more dynamic, and can be combined with lighter colors to create a unique color scheme for your wedding.  Some beautiful floral options also open up and become more economical, such as Dahlias and Cymbidium Orchids.

What are the cons of a Fall wedding?  In Southern California, we really can’t list many! 

The only thing to be aware of is that there is a bit less light due to daylight savings time ending, so make sure you are on the same page with your photographer about exactly when the sun is setting for those amazing Golden Hour wedding portraits.
