An August wedding in Mexico sounds grand, but unless you want your guests to have to swim back to their rooms after the reception, you might want to consider another time of year. Hawaii is an amazing destination for a wedding, but it’s not great for a Summer wedding because of the heat and humidity. Many couples prefer Europe, but it can be prohibitively expensive to get married there during the Summer (and we Californians sometimes forget that most places in Europe have snow during the Winter.)
It’s very easy to get far into the planning stages and then suddenly realize that you picked a date and a destination that simply don’t work together. Make sure that you are asking the right questions in the initial planning stages and ensuring that you set your wedding up for success.

COST & SAFETY need to be foremost in your mind.
Costs can easily spiral out of control during the planning process of any wedding, and with Destination Weddings it is even more likely. Choose a destination that is cost-effective, both for you in hosting and for your guests in getting there.
