A Japanese-Indian Fusion Wedding

Miharue and Vivek wanted a fabulous wedding full of details and colors inspired by their Japanese and Indian roots.  This gorgeous wedding was held at a private estate and the couple had a traditional Indian ceremony complete with a gorgeous mandap and a Japanese entrance.

Miharue wore a beautiful Indian gown and later changed into a Japanese kumon for the reception.  There were both Japanese and Indian dancers in the reception to show off both cultures.  There was also Japanese influence throughout the reception decor, with hanging lanterns, bamboo centerpieces and, of course, Sake on each table.  Bold colors like red, orange, and gold were prominent throughout the reception decor, floral, and wedding cake, showing off the beautiful Indian culture of Vivek.  This Japanese-Indian fusion wedding was such a blast and turned out so beautiful with so many unique elements from both cultures.
